Simon Heyworth established his reputation in recording at Virgin’s Manor Studios, most notably as co-producer of Mike Oldfield’s Tubular Bells. He gained years of experience working as a mastering engineer in London, before establishing his own revolutionary audio mastering studio in Devon during the summer of 2002.
His client history boasts the likes of Brian Eno, King Crimson, Imogen Heap, Marillion, Nick Drake and Kate & Anna McGarrigle. As well as working with new artists such as Egonon, Carmen Hillary and viseMenn, Simon has worked on many seminal legacy productions. Some of these have been remixed in Stereo and 5.1 (Depeche Mode, Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, King Crimson), as well as being available as updated Re-masters.
He is renowned for maintaining absolute integrity of the audio he is working with alongside coaxing incredible audio masters that will not disappoint.

Picture a tall stone room, hundreds of years old, on the edge of the desolate beauty of Dartmoor, England. In the room is the reassuring presence of veteran sound engineer, Simon Heyworth.
The room is beautifully laid out with modern and vintage studio equipment, complex computer systems for high res and surround audio and tasteful hanging acoustic panels to focus the sound.
